Hubbard Release Photo Records
A booking photograph is created as part of the jail intake record. Minnesota Statutes section 13.82 classifies a booking photograph as public when its stated conditions apply. Another law may still protect an identity or active investigative data. That is why a request should ask for the existing photograph and allow Sheriff Records to apply the current classification. Broad claims that every jail image is always public are not sound.
Online display is a separate issue. The Hubbard County Inmate Locator shows an image control on current detail records, but the county does not promise that the image will stay online after release. The government record may remain even after its public web display ends. The image proves only that a photograph was linked to a booking. Charges may later be dismissed, reduced, or resolved in ways the picture cannot show.
A booking photo is not proof of guilt, current confinement, or community release. Match it to the booking and confirm the case outcome with official records.
Hubbard Released Mugshot Sources
Each official channel answers a different question. Start with the source that created the relevant image. A county booking photo comes from the Sheriff. A prison photograph comes from the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Registry images cover only the limited group authorized for public notification.

VINELink may help confirm a county custody status, but Hubbard research did not establish it as a dependable historical photo archive. Likewise, a local news image may be an agency photograph, a courtroom image, or a later portrait. Its caption and date matter.
Hubbard Jail Image Access
The official Hubbard County Inmate Locator has a “Click to View Image” control in its detail interface. It also displays current-booking information such as booking status, bail or fine, custody date, court date, and case details. Those labels create context for the photo. The tool is identified by the county as “In Custody Information,” so it must not be treated as a gallery of Hubbard County released inmate mugshots.
Search by last name and first name. Gender and birth year can help distinguish similar names. Preserve the booking number or SPN number before the entry disappears. That identifier makes a later photo request more precise. If the person no longer appears, do not infer why. Release, transfer, a data update, or another custodial move can all explain an absent result.
The county has no verified recent-release photo feed and no official Sheriff mobile app that supplies a released-photo gallery. The Hubbard County 24-hour release route therefore uses direct confirmation and records requests, not an app-based photo list.
Request Hubbard Booking Photographs
After a live record drops away, ask Hubbard County Sheriff Records for the existing booking photograph connected to the named booking. The county’s Data Practices page explains public inspection and the request route. Inspection of public data is free. The published paper baseline is $0.25 for a one-sided page and $0.50 for a two-sided page, with staff time possible when compilation is required. No fixed electronic-photo fee or guaranteed completion time was found, so request an estimate.
- Identify the person by full name, date of birth if known, and the Hubbard County booking number or date range.
- Ask for the existing booking photograph associated with that booking, plus enough booking data to confirm the match.
- Submit the county form or contact Sheriff Records at 301 Court Avenue, Park Rapids, MN 56470, phone 218-732-3331.
- Ask to inspect first when cost is uncertain. Request the legal classification if any portion is withheld.
- Compare the returned booking number and date with the court case rather than relying on the face alone.
Sheriff Records operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and closes on weekends and holidays. A focused request is more useful than asking staff to create a new photo list. Government offices must provide existing public data under applicable procedures, but they do not have to create a record that is not maintained.

Hubbard Prison Release Photos
A person transferred from Hubbard County Jail to state custody enters a different record system. The Minnesota DOC Public Viewer covers adults committed to the Commissioner who remain under DOC jurisdiction. A correctional photograph may appear there. It is not necessarily the same image taken at Hubbard County Jail. A community-supervision status can remain visible after prison confinement ends, while a fully discharged person may no longer appear.
The Minnesota Public Registrant Search is narrower. It covers people subject to registration law who also qualify for public notification. An absent result does not prove that no registration duty exists, and the registry is not a general source for photos of released Hubbard County inmates. Use the actual DOC number and the exact status wording whenever possible.

No Hubbard Release Photo App
Research of official Hubbard County channels found no Sheriff-operated mobile app with a recent-release list or booking-photo archive. Generic inmate applications should not be presented as county products. Their data may arrive late, lack a clear correction process, or preserve a photo after the official source changes. The locally accurate sequence is the live county locator first and Sheriff Records second.
This distinction matters because Hubbard’s live system exposes detailed booking fields while the county navigation calls it an in-custody tool. A detailed screen can look archival even when it is not. Save the booking identifier, source, and access time. Then request the photo and release event from the office that holds them.
Verify Hubbard Mugshot Copies
Local government press releases and news reports sometimes show a photograph for a specific incident. These are episodic sources, not complete booking or release lists. Read the caption, publication date, and agency attribution. A later court disposition may differ from the early account, and a news page usually cannot confirm the present custody status.
Commercial archives may preserve old images, duplicate a record, attach the wrong name, or omit the final disposition. Do not pay an unverified publisher for an official record that may be available through the county. No commercial mugshot or pay-to-remove service is endorsed or linked here. If an outside image points to a likely booking, return to Sheriff Records and MCRO for confirmation.
Hubbard Mugshots After Expungement
Expungement under Minnesota Chapter 609A can seal qualifying court and executive-branch records within the scope of an order. It does not make an event historically unreal, and different agencies may need to apply the order to their own records. When a public court result or photograph disappears, sealed facts should not be reconstructed from scraps found elsewhere.
Minnesota research for this project did not identify a general state “pay to remove” mugshot statute. The sound rule is narrower: section 13.82 governs the public classification of the official booking photograph, other classifications can limit release, and an expungement order may affect later access. A person seeking correction should identify the booking and disputed field through the county data-practices route. Accurate historical data is not guaranteed to be deleted merely because it is unwanted.
